( Kuroo's attention shifts to the deliberate way Daichi increases contact, and he swallows hard. )

Would you believe it was out of the goodness of my heart? ( the question is obviously idle: Daichi's not stupid. he knows well enough by now that Kuroo can definitely be kind - benevolent, even. he should also know that Kuroo's efficient, and that any opportunity he gives away conceals an opportunity for himself. it's not about equal gain, it's about not wasting time.

well, he's been wasting a lot of time this evening, hasn't he?

Kuroo looks up from beneath the veil of his lashes, calculating. ) Or maybe, because I like your company? ( that's not a lie, but it's not exactly a confession, either, and when Sawamura's being so bold it's cowardly of him to keep up the smoke-and-mirrors act. Kuroo sighs, brnging their joined hands to his lips and kissing Daichi's knuckles experimentally. )

How far do I have'ta reach out before you meet me halfway?

[ each question has easy answers - of course kuroo is kind, even if does his best to keep it hidden behind a smug smile and twisted layers. of course kuroo likes his company, otherwise they wouldn't have spent so much time together at training camps, and so much time texting. the question is how much does it mean to kuroo, if it means the same thing as it does to daichi.

so when kuroo kisses his knuckles his eyes go wide, sucking in a sharp breath through his teeth. oh.

so it's like that, thank god. ]

Meet you halfway? [ daichi's face falls from disbelief to smiling to a sharp cut grin that would make kuroo proud, leaning in so their foreheads touch. it's heady, it's terrifying, and daichi squeezes kuroo's hand as he braces himself for the drop. ]

( devious does look good on Sawamura, and Kuroo regrets that every time he has to witness the guy bending over in shorts. he bares his teeth in defense but it's pretty obvious he's fronting, tugging harder at Daichi now that he's so close. their foreheads clash but - more importantly - their mouths meet. Kuroo sighs against him. they both taste like cheap beer and youthful impetuousness. it's somewhat refreshing. )

That doesn't mean anything by itself, ( he points out, and kisses him again for heady good measure. ) I'm obviously Tokyo's best tour guide, after all.

[ it's a rough kiss, more of a bump of faces if he's honest, but it still lights up daichi's nerves and makes him grin. he can't believe his luck.

friends, he reminds himself, there are boundaries here that kuroo will probably need him respect come morning, but still, daichi lets himself lose that thought for now as he steals one more kiss. ]

I dunno about that, do good tour guides get people drunk in their house?

( it's like the brakes have come loose: Kuroo wrestles his hand free and grabs Daichi clumsily by the face and holds him at kissable range. there's probably more comfortable ways to do this - there are definitely more comfortable ways to do this - but Kuroo's damned if he'll let up long enough to move around. he's far too greedy for such expedience. )

[ his dripping with sarcasm tone would have a lot more effect if he wasn't still grinning like a damn fool, matching kuroo kiss for kiss. with his hand now free he gets it tangled in the endless bedhead, pulling kuroo down so neither of them are straining on the couch for kisses. ]

( their position is still a little awkward, Kuroo's legs hanging over the edge of the couch like the dangly pillock he is, but it could be worse. Sawamura could be shoving him away instead of bringing him closer. )

What, you don't believe me? ( his tone is distressingly uneven, but given the circumstances Kuroo'll let it slide. ) I'm shocked, and hurt, Sawamura.

[ actually, he should probably keep kuroo talking with his voice that messed up, it sounds good, but daichi's afraid he'll get his bearings back if he's too nice.

whatever, details. daichi focuses more on pulling kuroo back in for another kiss, this time using his tongue to drag against the seam of kuroo's lips. just to see. ]

( like hell he's going to obey that, especially if it makes Sawamura so grabby. too many tender emotions are unsettling; Kuroo would rather this bluster any day of the week.

he opens his mouth to Daichi's tongue, just long enough to exchange wet heat, and pulls back to mouth off again. )

[ daichi snorts at kuroo's idiocy - make him is a challenge daichi will gladly rise to. he shifts, getting himself facing kuroo on the couch and tugs kuroo up for another rough, searing kiss. ]

( ehe, looks like it's Kuroo's victory once again~ he congratulates himself and bites gently at Daichi's lip - just enough to prove that he's far from tamed yet. )

[ he doesn't expect kuroo to be, and honestly doesn't want kuroo to be either. he likes the way it feels to have kuroo's teeth graze his lip, making him shudder, chasing after it for more kisses, more nips of teeth and swipes of tongue. ]

( shit, that's pretty good. Kuroo increases the thing, tongue delving deeper into Sawamura's mouth to taste him better. it's a little sloppy but he likes that, likes this lazy determination they've worked up between them. it's a good match for them.

unable to resist being a smug asshole, he breaks away to rasp, ) Curiousity killed you yet?

[ it's probably a good thing kuroo pulls away, otherwise daichi might have made some horribly embarrassing noises, and no one wants that. ]

No, but you might if you keep talking. [ he tugs kuroo back into kissing range and shuts him up with his lips once again. seriously kuroo, don't go killing a good thing. ]

( uh excuz?? kuroo wants that???

he cackles - just as planned - and shoves Daichi onto his back. it makes their teeth clash together a little, but that's fine: from here he can pin Sawamura to the couch and really concentrate on sticking his tongue down his throat--

his foot knocks against a stray beercan and Kuroo blinks at it. ah. )

Feel like moving this down the hall?

( he almost, almost says 'to the boudoir' but figures he'll end up with a black eye and a sad boner. )

[ daichi does his best to kiss the laugh out of kuroo's mouth, at least to quiet it down to something that doesn't ring horrible in his ears. it's a little more difficult when kuroo's shoving him down, but at least he can bring kuroo down with him, dragging his hands across the breadth of his back. ]

Uh. [ oh no, it's hard to listen to questions when kuroo's mouth is all kiss bruised already ] Sure, I guess.

( stretching under Daichi's hands like a spoiled cat, Kuroo almost forgets what he even asked. except that it was a great idea, because all his ideas are great (see: inviting rival captains down for the weekend, totally altruistically). the slow ebb of beer across the floor reminds him. Kuroo stands with a reluctant sigh and peels off his shirt, tossing it haphazardly over the mess.

look. he was gonna have to wash it anyway; two birds, one stone, all that jazz.

he rights the beer can and glances back at his guest, wondering if he should help him up. it'll probably get him punched, Kuroo decides, so he does, offering Sawamura his hand with a flourish that nearly has him falling over. whoa. )

[ watching kuroo full give up and toss his shirt into the mess would be hilarious if it didn't that daichi would be left staring at a half naked kuroo tetsurou. he's doesn't carry his muscle the same way daichi does, but he can still make out the muscle that shapes his tall, lean figure. daichi swallows.

hopefully kuroo didn't notice all that, or the excessive staring. ]

That's gonna work? [ daichi does not take kuroo's hand, simply because he's fairly certain taking kuroo's hand will involve both of them flat on the floor in the beer mess. he'll pass on that, thanks. ]

Hmm? ( he examines the hidden mess as if success hadn't even really occurred to him. liquid is already soaking into the fabric, which was sort of the point, right?

Kuroo shrugs, careless. ) It'll be fine. There wasn't that much.

( he heads for his bedroom, asking over his shoulder, ) You comin'? ( and then trying not to giggle because - heh - 'coming.' genius. )

[ daichi sighs, wondering why he bothers to worry at this point. it's clear kuroo doesn't. ]

Yeah yeah, let's go.

[ it's weird to follow kuroo down unfamiliar, silent halls, but once he steps into kuroo's room he knows there's no going back. ]

( ehhh, he'll get it later.

because he's such a kind fella, there's even a second futon ready and laid out on his floor. that's totally optional, though. don't feel as if it needs to be used! ah, but that makes the options for seating room either a) said futon or b) Kuroo's actual bed. i mean, that's pretty final, isn't it??? he hadn't really considered that - he was just thinking about width and length and how he was about to fall off the couch (and mr guest Sawamura-kun) onto the beer can'd floor.

talk about awkward. oh, well, so it goes...

Kuroo flops onto the bed in his best 'one of your French girls' pose, grinning widely enough that it ought to cover the sudden rising of his nerves. )

Need a written invitation, Sawamura?

[ the room is clean, neatly organized, and the futon on the floor feels a little comical when he knows the two of them had the same angle. to join kuroo on the bed would be something daichi would like to do more than he'd care to admit.

but there's something to be said about being a little shit.

so he flops down on the futon and matches kuroo's ridiculous laying down pose. ]

Nah, I think I'm good.

Kuroo's eyes roll. he is not going to be the one to break this stand-off, he refuses. if Sawamura wants to give up on touching his hot body asap, that's his own problem!!!

he scratches his chest idly. )

Oi, at least take some clothes off so I've got somethin' to look at.

I've started! ( he protests. frankly, he's a little offended that Sawamura isn't drooling on his chest right now, but he's also not surprised. Sawamura's kind of a dick that way. it's probably why Kuroo likes him so much.
